Question Tips
An answer is only as helpful as the question it answers. Here are some tips for good questions:
Be specific about what you want to know. General questions get general answers. If you are asking about someone else, please include their name and relationship to you (e.g. “my husband, Tom Brown”).
Include a time frame. If you ask, “Will I get married?” the question covers the rest of your life! A better question would be, “Will I marry Joe within the next year?”
Keep most questions' time frame limited to the next year. When you go beyond a year, there are too many various influences that can change the energy and affect the outcome to get helpful results.
Examples of good questions:
Will my son, Bob, go to college this fall?
Will I get a new job within 6 months? Or will I get a promotion at my current job?
How will my husband, Tom Brown's, health be this year? Tom had heart surgery last year—will things improve, worsen, or stay the same?
